Experience
Field manager
I started out as a referee at Black River Paintball in 2008 and was promoted to field manager in 2010. As a referee I enforced the rules and ensured player safety. As the field manager I oversee daily operations, train employees, coordinate events, schedule staff, and much more.
Over an average of a hundred people come out each weekend to play and leave with smiles on their faces. Each day at Black River was different with new challenges for me to face. This job has given me a lot of experience as a manager and with customer service.

Department of defense
I enlisted in the North Carolina National Guard in March 2011. I went to Fort Leonard Wood for my Initial Entry Training. The environment was harsh, yet I found that I could meet all challenges. Everything was structured and I quickly learned the importance of discipline.
I was sent to Air Assault School at Fort Benning over the summer of 2012. This was the most difficult training I have ever experienced. It pushed me to my mental and physical limits.

East Carolina University Army ROTC
The ROTC program at ECU taught me how to be a leader. As an cadet I developed my leadership style and learned the importance of planning. I learned about briefing, CONOPs (Concept of Operations), OPORDs (Operational Order), and the planning process for training events. The program encouraged me to stay mentally and physically fit for the challenges I would face in the future.
